An Taoiseach opens the Digital Summit 2019

The Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar gave a short address on 20th September in the Convention Centre Dublin into mark the launch of the Digital Summit 2019 .

The Digital Summit Dublin 2019 was a one-day event featuring a number of preeminent international speakers who discussed the development of digital technologies and maximising their use for the good of our society and economy.
Themes covered included DSM 2 and the Future of the Digital Economy, Education and Machine Learning, Cyber-Security: defending the weakest link, Countering Online Disinformation and many other topics. Delegates attending could hear about key developments in the area of data and digital-driven technologies as well as meet and network with a wide range of experts working in digital fields across the regulatory, business, research and not-for-profit sectors.
